The Ode To Y. T. by Yuu Ikeda

Childhood me stands up.
‘You are my eternal Hero’

Your hands caught the highest and purest dream like the spring sky,
and made the hopeful road.
Your bright eyes cut the moonless night away,
and drops of light flowing from the darkness
wrapped people who have a longing for you.

Childhood me wipes tears.
Childhood me who used to chase the dream
wipes tears.

‘You are my eternal Hero’

Childhood me smiles.
The hopeful boy who used to have  a longing for your one passionate step
looks up at the brightest sky.

‘You are my eternal Hero.
And, eternal blaze’
