Even when I stumble [ Preesha ]

Fear of being an unseen soul.

Dear world,

The heaps of lessons you bestow

Seems uncannily peculiar,

Like tender flame

Yet have ruthless edge,

Heartbreaks, mistakes

Unbidden losses—

Unfold as unfair and devastating,

As if every flicker of hope withers—

Every light is fading away,

Every door is folding shut,

But the flame within me is so stubborn

Not letting me give up,

Though my mind wandered often,

Nevertheless,

It all preludes to a life better,

Dear world,

you are empowering me

Lifting me up from pain,

Through my mistakes—

you raise wisdom's weight!

Pouring patience and courage,

You are anchoring my soul,

I wish I could understand you

More better,

My heart echoes;

Perhaps,

hoping one day

It all makes sense,

That my trials, pain, disappointments, tears

are all will be worth it,

Even when I stumble.
